PSYCHOLOGY Direct was founded by Clinical Psychologist Dr Louise Banham and her husband Aaron Banham in 2007.
Seeing an opportunity their aim was to provide a professional and proactive service to both clients and psychologists, by having dedicated Client Managers who co-ordinate the whole process for both parties from start to finish.

We offer a nationwide service providing Expert reports and testimony for Civil, Criminal & Family Courts in both public and privately funded cases. For the rehabilitation sector we offer comprehensive assessments and evidence based treatment for insurers, solicitors and case managers across the UK.

Our extensive network of educational psychologists also provide assessments, training and support for pupils, teachers and parents on an ad hoc or contractual basis.

The role in more detail:

This role works closely with and manages a range of contacts including psychologists and psychiatrists and key business accounts such as solicitors, local authorities, prisons and Crown Prosecution Service to ensure that requests for a wide variety of assessments are delivered in line with the client’s expectations within the Expert witness department.

However, you will also be required on an ad hoc basis to support the Rehabilitation department liaising with case managers in the rehab sector who could be doing anything from supporting someone after a brain injury or an employer wanting to support an employee back into work after an incident or accident. The principal is the same but the customers are different, they have different needs, different deadlines and work at a very different pace and therefore there is a high degree of coordination, adaptability and resilience required to be successful in this role.

Training-You will benefit from being trained and supported by an experienced team so that you can understand all aspects of Psychology Direct and the departments within it. The training will ensure you have the right knowledge and support required to grow and be a successful member of the team.


We offer a competitive salary of £19,000-£22,000 dependent on experience and a bonus of up to £3,000 per annum once you have successfully passed your 3 month probation.
