We are delighted to be recruiting a Work Ready Team Leader to plan and oversee the delivery of the Work Ready employability programme in prisons.
Based in Ashford, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of subcontracted and CXK team delivery, ensuring that all courses are delivered in line with the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) expectations in all six prisons across Kent, Sussex and Surrey.

A confident manager/deliverer of high-quality employability programmes
Organised with excellent time management
Confident in building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
An excellent communicator
An adaptable team player – passionate about providing a consistently excellent service
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quick to understand internal software packages.

Main Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development and review of the Work Ready employability programme
Manage the day-to-day delivery of the Work Ready employability programme ensuring that these are of consistent high quality.
Provide programme performance reports to the Area Manager, Prison IAG at least monthly, in line with the KPIs set by the contract
Undertake monthly reviews of delivery with CXK subcontractors and provide reports to the Area Manager
Work closely with the IAG team in each of the prisons to maximise progression for the participants
Work with prison partners to encourage a smooth referral process, attendance and employment opportunities for the participants
