Are you a recent Criminolgy graduate? Have you studied Financial Crime and have an interest starting a career in Fraud and Financial Crime investigation?
If so we would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for a Financial Crime Intelligence Insight Officer to join a leading brand in personal lines insurance.
The role would suit a Criminology (or similar) graduate who has studied Financial Crime and is interested in an entry level role with full training, supporting the investigation of Fraud and Financial Crime relating to insurance policy and claims fraud.
The role will involve
reviewing, analysing and summarising a multitude of intelligence reports, extracting the most relevant and useful information and ensuring the content can either trigger or contribute towards policy and claim fraud investigations. This will also involve data mining and production of formal summary reports.
This role will involve liaising with Law Enforcement and other agencies, in the exchange of data, in informal data releases and formal witness statements.
Given the nature of the role, the successful applicant must be able to not only work alongside multiple departments internally, but also with other insurers and industry bodies, such as the IFB and IFED.
An understanding of Anti Money Laundering / Proceeds of Crime and Suspicious Activity and data sharing under Data Protection Act 2018: Schedule 1, Part 2, Section 10 (1) legislation, and witness statement writing would be very beneficial.
