Job Description

Operative required in goods in/despatch department of busy precision engineering company. Duties will include checking goods coming in against Purchase Orders, unpacking incoming goods, logging goods coming in on computer, cleaning components, updating stock records, packing components for dispatch, stocking and keeping records of consumables and packing materials.

Skills/Attributes

Dextrous and careful with expensive and fragile components, ability to work on own and under pressure, good concentration levels, good written and verbal skills, basic computer skills, attention to detail, basic mathematics skills. Training in manual handling would be a bonus but is not essential.
Full time position but would consider a part time appointment.
