Our client in the security industry based in West London have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
You will be joining a small and lively office environment assisting the Estimating Team to produce proposals and prepare quotations and assist in the completion of tenders in an accurate and timely manner.
Key accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Preparing accurate quotes and contract documents to be presented to the Client.To minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.To ensure that all quotes provided are compliant with statutory and legislative requirements.To work closely with the Stores Controller to determine stock levels, pricing and lead times.Liaise/ build relationships with Suppliers regarding parts and pricingTo attend team meetings/briefings as required, ensuring all data/information in respect of ongoing tenders/quotes and proposals are up to date and available for discussion.
An ideal Candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:
Strong communication skills, (written and verbal)Fluent English spoken and written is a must.Knowledge of security systems would be beneficial.A high level of negotiation and analytical skillsAn eye for detail and accuracy with numbersComputer Literacy is essential, particularly with M/S Word and Excel. Full training will be provided on our bespoke Office system.A strong 'can do’ positive attitude is essential.Ability to Multi-task and effective time managementBe flexible.Must be a good team worker.Self Starter
