My client is a well established and highly regarded Financial Planning business with a “client first” ethos at the heart of how the business operates.
Paraplanners are integral to the business – they provide vital technical support to Financial Planners and a positive experience for clients. They are highly qualified individuals that contribute to the advisory service by reviewing, analysing and preparing compliant recommendations for clients. As such, the expectation upon paraplanners is to be able to research and prepare excellent suitability reports that are in accordance with the investment philosophy of the business and client values.
The successful candidate will also be required to keep up-to-date with product knowledge, ensure they maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate in a confident and friendly way. A client-focused approach is essential as clients are at the centre of everything the business does.
To be successful in this role, candidates must:
• Have 2+ years financial services experience
• Be qualified to Level 4 (or close to achieving)
• Have detailed knowledge of pensions, investments and estate planning
• Be articulate in both verbal and written communication
• Show the ability to demonstrate a client focused outlook in your work
