The Operations teams are responsible for producing and distributing the high quality water which flows to customers taps. These areas look after 200 treatment works, boosters and reservoirs as well as 10,000km of distribution mains network. Technicians are out on the road 24 hours a day ensuring continuous supply for our customers.

To undertake and complete a two-year apprenticeship working within the South East Water Operations team. This will include undertaking formal training to a Level 3 Diploma Apprenticeship.
Work within specific Operations teams to gain experience of all aspects of either Production, Distribution or Leakage Detection dependant on which pathway you are chosen to follow.
Carry out various ad hoc projects for the Operations Team relevant to an apprentice role.
A full clean driving licence is required along with residing within a one hour drive of Aldershot, Hampshire.
Have a minimum of five GSCE's with grade C or above in Maths, English and Science, with appropriate qualifications at a higher level an advantage. Evidence will be requested.
Be available to undertake occasional additional working where this is relevant to the apprenticeship.
This role is field based so would suit someone who enjoys both lone working and working as part of a team.
Whilst we cannot guarantee roles at the end of the two year programme, we anticipate vacancies to arise and for you to be in a good position to move into a Trainee Technician role.
