Industry leading bonus scheme, an example is if you generate £120’000 income you will receive £24’000 bonus. The top earners are currently earning £100’000! It is an uncapped bonus scheme.
Car allowance of £320 a month
As field based you must hold a UK driving licence to apply.
LOCATION
This is a field sales role but the office base is flexible, as they have various offices throughout the UK. All suitable candidates considered in any area. They have a pressing need for people in North London, Hertfordshire, Bucks, Milton Keynes, Thames Valley, Heathrow, Bristol, South Coast, Devon and Cornwall; exceptional candidates will always be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Candidates will need five years sales experience as a minimum, within commercial insurance. You will need to have the ability to work remotely and within a commercial office. You will need to have a full driving licence. A minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience is required and your technical ability will be assessed. Existing sales experience an advantage; however, experience in dealing with commercial customers is essential. Confident communicators

TRAINING
The first 12 weeks you are not targeted, as this time is for training, adapting to the company culture and to prepare and develop a pipeline of business. The induction programme is for twelve full weeks, by the end of the twelve weeks you will have commenced a ten day residential course and your training programme. You will gain a good understanding of the role, company; lead generating systems, supporting departments and in-house database during this period. At this point you will have everything you need to be successful including your business cards and your blackberry.
EXPECTAIONS
You will be expected to be self generating, by contacting customers, networking, door knocking and to win business. If you have customers and contacts to bring with you it will be beneficial. Typical key performance indicators include 15 cold calls a day, 5 meetings a week and £5-8’000 new income a month. £7’500-£25’000 premiums is their core business and £26’000 – 50’000 premiums is a focus area to grow.

They are running a National Campaign to secure 100 new Commercial Insurance “Development Executives”. The role involves working within the Risk Solution businesses, securing new commercial customers with an income target of minimum £60,000 pa. You are expected to utilise central Sales and Marketing resources to build a pipeline of commercial prospects with a minimum premium of £5,000pa. You will maintain professional standards at all times and adhere to the current regulatory regime. You will be encouraged to exploit niche offerings and conceive new initiatives and ideas. You will be expected to manage an ongoing pipeline and utilise existing CRM systems to forecast activity. You will also be required to manage your own diary and ensure that they use their time effectively. In addition to existing lead generation channels Development Executives will be required to mine opportunity from cold, canvas prospective clients, explore trade sectors and wherever possible conceive new ideas and initiatives.
