A great opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Analyst. My client a large provider of Assistance and Travel Insurance are looking for a sales support analyst to join their expanding team.

Objective: To ensure the smooth running and administration of assigned client accounts, under the guidance of the appropriate Business Development Manager (BDM) and direction of the line manager.Maintain the quality and accuracy of all material and information provided to clients and BDM’s in fulfilling the above function

Main Duties • To ensure that all areas of routine sales administration are fully up to date, through co-ordination and close co-operation with the relevant member of the Sales Team

Ensure the implementation and maintenance of laid down business administration procedures, through liaison with the Marketing, Finance and Operations departments as appropriate

To be a second line contact for clients in the absence of the BDM, responding to client queries and resolving issues wherever possible

Provide monthly and quarterly statistical reports, (as agreed with the client), profitability reviews, and general information for both internal and external customers

Implement new schemes, where assigned to the SSA by the Sales Support Manager, or Sales Support Team Lead, including setting up contract codes and issuing draft contracts to the BDM as applicable

Maintain up to date records including all relevant information, key contacts and contract details for those clients and schemes that are assigned to the SSA

Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all other departments

You will also be responsible for the following;

Health & Safety
• To ensure that your work area is kept safe and tidy at all times.
• To abide by the Health & Safety Work Act 1974.
• To notify the Company Health & Safety officer or the Managing Director of any Health & Safety issues which may cause harm to fellow employees

Training
• To advise your Team Leader of any areas of work for which you require any additional training.

Quality Management System
• To work as a member of a team within the quality system and follow all documented quality procedures and instructions.

Key Performance Areas
• To work towards achieving 100% on all Company, departmental, team and individual key performance targets.

Appraisals
• Participate and contribute towards individual annual appraisals, team meetings and regular one-to-one assessment sessions.

Regulatory
• To work within and be compliant at all times with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable to the role

General
• To manage or assist with relevant ad-hoc projects as required by the Sales Support Manager.
• Complete all appropriate administration.
• Provide relevant reports to the Sales Support Manager, or Group head office, on a monthly basis.
• Carry out any other additional duties as requested by the Sales Support Manager from time to time within the scope of your role.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Should be well presented in line with working within a corporate environment.

• Educated to ‘GCSE’ Level standard or equivalent.
Experience and evidence of the following areas:

• Good commercial awareness with a ‘customer service’ mindset
• Strongly numerate, able to interpret data and draw conclusions from information supplied
• Good presentation skills
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent telephone manner
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
• A good working knowledge of Word & PowerPoint
• Intermediate/Advanced Access Skills
• Assistance/Insurance administration knowledge
• VBA skills in Excel and / or Access.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident and assertive
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Thorough and accurate numerical skills

Annual basic salary circa 20k
