A fantastic opportunity to join a leading and prestigious Commercial Insurance Broker as an Account Handler within a friendly and busy office with a director who really wants their staff to enjoy coming into work.
Clark James Insurance Recruitment are working exclusively with a very successful, sought after, interesting and prestigious Commercial Insurance Brokers in the Guildford area.
This company currently has exciting plans to expand their Commercial Insurance Team and are looking for an experienced Account Handler / Broker to deal with a wide variety of commercial clients assisting them with their requirements and broking a wide variety of Commercial Insurance products.
•You will provide knowledgeable advice to existing customers in respect of their insurance needs, liaise effectively with insurers to obtain the most appropriate terms for the clients and oversee the departmental renewal list and to ensure that all cases are renewed in line with requirements.
•You will also assist the Account Executive to acquire new retail and commercial customers and attend client visits as necessary in order to develop strong relationships with the clients.
•You will be expected to provide an excellent customer service which is critical in this competitive market, dealing direct with important clients, this is a very customer focussed business so this is critical.
•You will advise on and manage mid term alterations / policy changes . Set up computer records , check and issue documents to clients , check incoming proposal forms , diary management , renewal rebroking and negotiation with insurers , setting up policy records , creating client schedules.
Excellent technical knowledge, communication skills and work ethic will be important as you will provide support for the office and be a point of technical advice on policy coverage
Salary will be dependent upon experience and knowledge and this is a very generous package for a non London position including free parking, generous holiday, Pension, bonus structure and much more.
Assistance is offered to undertake the Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications and it will be an advantage if you are at least Cert CII Qualified but not a necessity. All employees have a training plan.
